What the free beta includes

Read supported books and saved articles, browse the collection, use optional vocabulary checks, save vocabulary choices, and review ready flashcards with built-in spaced repetition. AI assistance has a weekly allowance; ordinary reading does not consume credits.

The public Spanish sample stories and free reading tools are available without an account.

100 AI credits each week

Each verified account receives 100 credits per calendar week. The allowance resets on Monday at 00:00 UTC, with no rollover. Settings shows your current allowance and reset time.

Definitions, translations and explanations

An uncached AI definition, translation, word or sentence explanation, or generated example uses one credit per provider attempt. A failed attempt can still use a credit if it reached the AI provider; validation failures and cached reuse do not.

Vocabulary checks

Checking which words you know is free. An optional new AI meaning costs at most one credit when it is successfully generated. Reusing a ready meaning is free.

Preparing words and creating flashcards

Optional AI preparation can use several credits. Flashcard creation shows its maximum new-meaning cost before generation and reuses ready meanings for free. Review the cost shown for the action before starting.

When credits run out

You can keep reading available content, use your manual vocabulary choices and review saved cards. New AI assistance waits for your allowance to reset.

Cached reuse means content that is still available for that account and action. Reloading, changing languages, deleting content or clearing stored results can require a new request. The current in-app balance and action notices are the place to check before using assistance.

Library and storage limits

Books

Up to 20 books in your account.

Saved articles

Up to 100 articles, including pasted text.

Cloud file storage

250 MB per account, with a 50 MB maximum per uploaded file. Uploaded book files, extracted covers and saved article snapshots count toward this allowance. MB uses 1,048,576 bytes.

Offline copies

Downloaded copies use your device’s storage separately from the cloud allowance. Archiving a book or removing only its offline copy does not free cloud file storage.

Settings shows your cloud file usage. The storage allowance does not reset weekly. Reaching an upload limit does not prevent reading content already available in your Library.

What happens after beta?

Public-release pricing has not been announced. Paid-credit offers currently collect interest only: expressing interest does not charge you, start a subscription or add credits. The free beta is not a promise of permanent free access.
